ST-Ericsson demonstrates groundbreaking multimedia and graphic performance running on its Nova™ A9500 application processor; full HD 3D stereoscopic viewfinder, 3D stereoscopic gaming, full HD 2D and 3D video playback, 3D panorama and augmented reality. ST-Ericsson’s newly launched NovaThor™ family of complete integrated smartphone platform solutions combines the most advanced application processor with the latest generation of modems.
Paving the way for LTE in all devices
ST-Ericsson showcases Thor™ M7400 and M7300, the industry’s smallest and first two-chip LTE/HSPA+ modem solutions based on a cutting-edge architecture which enables manufacturers to develop sleek and power-efficient 4G devices that can connect to high speed LTE and HSPA+ networks around the world.
ST-Ericsson further demonstrates its existing commercial solutions with live networks. Visitors can see LTE demonstrations at up to 100 Mbps, based on the Thor M720 modem, and HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps with Thor M5730, the first and smallest two-chip 21 Mbps modem solution in the industry.
Igloo developer community
ST-Ericsson demonstrates the Snowball, a powerful developer board based on its Nova A9500 application processor. ST-Ericsson recently launched the Igloo open source community and the Snowball developer board to accelerate the development of system and software innovations that fully harness the capabilities of its cutting-edge smartphone and tablet platforms.
