Ronen Ben-Hamou

Ronen Ben-Hamou is Senior Vice President, head of R&D at ST-Ericsson as of June 1st, 2012.
Prior to this position Mr. Ben-Hamou was head of the Program Management Office and head of System Silicon Development and Thin Modem Solutions since October, 2011.
Mr. Ben-Hamou has more than 20 years of experience in the wireless communication and semiconductors business.
Prior to joining ST-Ericsson, Mr. Ben-Hamou worked 10 years at Infineon Technologies where in his last role he was Vice President & General Manager of the Entry Phones Business Unit and Vice President & General Manager of SDR Mobile Platforms – business that he founded himself in 2007. Previously, he was Vice President Marketing of Feature Phones Business Unit at Infineon. Prior to that, he carried different executive business and program management roles at Infineon.
Before joining Infineon, Mr. Ben-Hamou worked at Alvarion as Head of the VLSI group. He was in the early phase of a start-up called Floware, that later merged with Breezecom and formed Alvarion.
Mr. Ben-Hamou started his professional career in the R&D of the prestige intelligence forces of the Israeli Defense Forces.
Ronen Ben-Hamou was born in Haifa, Israel in 1971. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from Coventry University in United Kingdom.
