The G4850 is part of ST-Ericsson’s third-generation single-chip 2G solutions. A worthy successor to the ground-breaking PNX4900, the G4850 delivers lower total-cost-of-ownership and longer battery life than its predecessor, still with best-in-class RF performance, superior audio quality, and robust security.
In addition to an unprecedented level of performance and cost-competitiveness, the G4850 offers new value-added features such as FM playback and record, and additional power management and connectivity features including USB detection/charging, 20 V over-voltage protection, and Dual-SIM Dual Standby support.
