STw5210
General Description
The STw5210 is a 24-bit, high-quality DAC with 102 dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for the whole audio path. It embeds an innovative PTE™ (playback time extender) function allowing a significant power reduction on portable music equipment in playback conditions, leading to many hours of extra playback time without compromising audio quality. The STw5210 is easy to integrate as it can be directly supplied by the battery. Advanced IPs are included to reduce the number of external components and the footprint. These include a headset driver with no coupling capacitors, as well as a low-power PLL generating the DAC clocks from the 32 kHz RTC clock with no need of additional quartz.
