The 6710 is a cost optimized HSDPA platform. With high level integration and advanced multimedia technologies it reduces design complexity and cost as well as providing the guarantees for a great user experience.
 

By integrating powerful multimedia DSPs in hardware the ARM®subsystem of the 6710 can be offloaded leaving extra MIPS for applications. Furthermore the sophisticated PMU enables a complete power management system for extended battery life.
