STw5098 - stereo codec

Dual, low power, stereo audio codec with integrated amplifiers

The STw5098 is a dual, high-quality stereo codec with headphones and hands-free amplifiers. It is dedicated to mobile phones supporting several audio sources (modem, digital audio such as MP3 or gaming, Bluetooth, FM radio, etc.) and to perform complex audio flows. The two available I²S/PCM digital interfaces - one per master -enable concurrent audio and voice flow between the network and user.

500 mW loudspeaker amplifier
DSP functions for bass, treble and volume
Interfaces: I²S/SPI/PCM for audio data and I²C/SPI for control
Low power (23 mW in playback, 1 µW in standby)
