Our ISP150x, ISP151x, ISP170x best-in-class ULPI Hi-Speed USB transceivers are designed for use with ASICs, FPGAs, and system chipsets that interface with the physical layer of the USB connection. They provide reliable USB performance in a low-pin format and support a full range of mobile and portable applications.

Some of our ULPI Hi-Speed USB transceivers come with battery-charger detection. These USB ICs were the first in the industry to comply with the new Battery Charging specification, implementing a standardized protocol for charger negotiation. They make it possible for the USB connection to differentiate between USB sources and to determine the appropriate level of current for optimal charging. They detect USB-compliant wall chargers, host chargers, hub chargers, and standard host and hubs.
