HSPA+Take the next step with us in a fast growing HSPA+ market for smartphones, tablets and other connected devices. Our HSPA+ portfolio brings industry-leading size an power consumption which enables small, affordable and power-efficient devices.
ST-Ericsson's HSPA+ solutions are powering many 21Mbps smartphones in the market, allowing them to achieve industry leading performance on HSPA+ networks. The Thor M7300 HSPA+ thin modem is the next generation HSPA+ solution. It will provide further improvements to mobile broadband performance for the emerging dual carrier market for smartphones and tablets.
The HSPA+ technology offers high data rates, low latency, increased capacity and better support for VoIP services. HSPA+ is a smooth migration path, enabling operators to prolong the life of WCDMA systems and achieve peak rates of 84 Mbps and beyond.
Enhanced F-DPCH - allows many more users in the HSPA+ system although with the same end-user experience.
Type 3i receiver – an advanced receiver design which enables higher throughput for the end-user. ST-Ericsson’s GRAKE technology is designed to meet, and surpass with wide margin, the latest 3GPP throughput requirements.

HSPA High Speed Packet Access, is a family of high-speed 3G digital data services provided by cellular carriers worldwide that use the GSM technology. The HSPA service works with HSPA cellphones as well as laptops and portable devices with HSPA modems.
The two established standards of HSPA are HSDPA and HSUPA. HSPA+, also referred as to evolved HSPA is a wireless broadband standard that provides HSPA data rates up to 42 Mbps on the downlink and 22 Mbps on the uplink with MIMO technologies and higher order modulation.
